WHAT IS NEURODIVERSITY?
Simply put, it’s the idea that variations in human brain that impact the way we perceive and behave are a form of diversity. I am passionate about neuroinclusive teaching and strive to be an ally to the neurodivergent community.
DI&A FELLOWSHIP
In 2023, I was awarded a Mines DI&A Fellowship for a project I titled Neurodiversity@Mines.
PRESENTATIONS, PUBLICATIONS, POSTERS, ETC.
I have given many presentations and authored or co-authored many publications related to neurodiversity. I plan to post links here soon.
MINES NEURODIVERSITY ALLY NETWORK
In order to continue the momentum around neurodiversity on the Mines campus, I founded the MNAN. It’s a grass roots effort for ND individuals and allies to connect, find community, and support each other. Please email me if you’d like to learn more or join the team.
INFINITY CLUB
I serve as faculty advisor to the Infinity Club, a place for neurodivergent students and allies at Colorado School of Mines to connect, socialize, and provide support and advocacy.
