Master’s and PhD applicants with expertise in two or more of the following areas: drilling dynamics, programming (Python, C++), numerical modeling, automation & control systems, formation evaluation, scientific machine learning, or hands-on experience with drilling fluid and cement lab work are encouraged to apply.

Prospective students are strongly encouraged to review prior research published by VERTEX and indicate their area(s) of interest in their statement of purpose. Applicants should highlight where they can make comprehensive contributions to our research. Please note that only candidates with high English proficiency and GRE score of Q ≥163 & V ≥155 will be invited for an interview.
