Teaching

I am committed to excellence in teaching, and my broad teaching experience of both undergraduates and graduate students encompasses a range of courses, learning styles, and teaching environments including research universities and liberal arts colleges. In addition to my mathematically-oriented teaching, I have also guest lectured in the University of Colorado Sleep and Circadian Summer School; the Colorado State University q-Bio Summer School; in courses for medical students at the Universities of Michigan and Colorado; and in courses for Integrative Physiology students at the University of Colorado. In 2018 I was honored to receive the University-wide Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award at Colorado School of Mines.

The official course websites for my courses at Colorado School of Mines are available to students on Canvas.
